That is why using a professional real estate agent, independent third party lawyer, and the correct Notario will guide you through your closing procedure. - Find a good lawyer (I'll help you with this)
- Copy of your ID/s for the lawyer
- Written sales agreement by your lawyer
- Copy of sales agreement
- Find a good Notario with the help of the lawyer
- Recieve an estimation of Closing Cost
- Determine if you want title insurance on the property
- Pay a deposit of half the closing cost
- Fill out a Dept of Foriegn Affairs Doc.
- Find a good trust bank (recommended by lawyer)
- Determine if you want a property inspection
- Liens or encumberances by Notario
- Timeline of events (by your buyer's agent)
- Escrow agreement (by your buyer's agent)
- Deposit into escrow by you
- Final deposit into EA one week before closing date
- Electrical meter reading
- Water bill and phone bill to agent for proration if any
- Closing day and signing of trust or deed and
